About Ginny Peters...

Ginny would be the quiet achiever of New Zealand Country Music, having had a great deal of success with her writing over the past number of years. "THE JOURNEY" featuring many of her songs, recorded by various artists.

For example, the song "I ONLY SEE YOU" has been recorded eleven times by artists in England (1), U.S.A (3), Australia (1) and New Zealand (6). "IN THE ARMS OF A MEMORY" has had similar coverage and in 1994 was a top three hit in Australia as recorded by Brian Letton. It helped propel him to the Tamworth Golden Guitar Awards finals in that year.

Ginny has also recorded for several labels herself, such as Epic, RCA, Allied International, Kiwi Pacific and Viking in New Zealand. In the U.S. she has recorded for Evolve, Trend and Playback. Her recording of "FREIGHT TRAIN" for Playback made the CASHBOX top 100 in 1988 as did her following single, "OLD FASHIONED LOVER".

Since concentrating on her writing, Ginny has continued to have great success with her material.
